First Visit Expectation
What Can I Expect During My First Visit to IN Chiropractic & Wellness?
Although each Doctor’s process will vary, generally you can expect to complete a full medical history questionnaire in the New Chiropractic Client paperwork available on the “forms” section of this site. Please go and print the documents that apply to your special needs. Typically most people will print everything with the exception of the auto accident forms unless it applies to your special circumstance. If you are planning to be a Scoliosis Client, the forms will be different than that of the Chiropractic Client. Upon your initial encounter, you will consult with the doctor in person or by telephone. This consultation is your opportunity to express your health concerns and expectations, and to ask any questions you may have pertaining to your situation. It is also an opportunity for the Dr. McDougle to express his role in your health care and discuss your health prognosis once a physical exam is performed which includes orthopedic testing, reflex assessments, muscle testing, and a specific Chiropractic evaluation. In some cases x-rays may be necessary to determine an exact diagnosis. X-rays are typically done at the office. Dr. McDougle will go over the results of the exam and x-rays with line drawing analysis with you once evaluated. Then, depending on your situation, the doctor may give you an adjustment and/or recommend some physical therapy, if needed. Adjustments shouldn’t be painful, although you may feel some discomfort until the pressure in the joint is relieved. Depending on your condition, your schedule of care will vary. For this reason, we offer the options care plans.
Options Care Programs
Our office offers the Options Care Programs. These programs are priced to compete with your deductibles, co-pays and/or co-insurance which have become the insurance company’s punishment for using your insurance policy. We don’t think that’s fair, so we also have incorporated a program to include up to 2 children per paying adult at no additional charge per visit [some Restrictions apply]. This gives you and your kids the opportunity to get healthy together without breaking the bank! There really is something for everyone and each option is clearly written down for clarity to relieve any concerns that you may have. With all that said, these are tough times and finally, someone is going to give you a break! Call today to take full advantage of one or several of these programs. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or major credit card.
